Wyandra 1928 - A Fancy Dress Ball

In 1928 there were three generations of the Frazer family living in or near Wyandra. 

The family members were Alexander and Agnes Jane Frazer and 

  • their five adult children: Alice, Lily, Alma, Alexander (‘Sonny’) and Albert Frazer. 
  • their son-in-law, Christopher George White a shearing contractor, ran Alexander Frazer’s new property Clover Lake, 62 km from Wyandra.
  • their two daughters-in-law: Bernadine Frazer (nee Grant) and Kathleen Frazer (nee Grieve)

and their nine grandchildren:

  • Alexander (‘Lex’), Thomas, Noel, and Celestine Frazer (the children of their son Alexander, and his wife Bernadine)
  • Enid, Cecily (‘Lorraine’), and Christopher (jnr) White (the children of their daughter Alice, and her husband Christopher) 
  • Niley Frazer (the daughter of their son Albert, and his wife Kathleen)

(Niley Frazer was two months old at the time of the fancy dress ball described below, and Celestine Frazer was born a week later.)
